The Full Body of Christ:
In this story, a recent BFA parent recounts a remarkable encounter during his missionary service. While traveling with a friend, he visited a remote village where an unexpected conversation revealed how God had already been at work.

They met an elderly man outside his small, thatched-roof hut. As he began sharing stories with them, the missionaries asked if they could share a story with him in return.

They began telling him the story of the Bible.

But before they could get very far, the man interrupted them and pulled out a pamphlet.

“You’re telling me that story!” he exclaimed, pointing to the pamphlet.

To their amazement and delight, the missionaries discovered that he was holding a copy of Genesis 1–11.

They asked if he would like to hear the rest of the story. What followed was an extraordinary opportunity to share the good news of the Gospel and introduce this man to the name of Jesus for the very first time.

The pamphlet he held had been funded by a church in the United States, translated in Vietnam, printed in Thailand, and distributed in another country.

Through the faithfulness of believers around the world, God had already begun preparing the way. These missionaries simply had the privilege of continuing the story and sharing the hope of Jesus.
